I’m sure you’re thinking what the heck does this picture of a crab have to do with the scale.  Well, I’m about to share a revoultionary trick to help you ditch the scale this year.  A revolution that gives you permission to hit your health goals, feel successful AND confident without the need to step on a scale!

Why? Because when the new year starts up, you’ve got all of this motivation to reach your goals and I want to help you keep up that momentum.

When you’re experiencing success on your health or weight loss journey, stepping on the scale actually feels FUN!

But as soon as you hit a plateau or have an off-week, the scale can become your worst enemy.

The first time you step on and don’t like the number you see, it’s a disappointment… and pretty quickly you start to DREAD stepping on the scale when you wake up.  It can even make eating healthy, drinking water, exercising etc… all the good things you’re doing a punishment.  

Before you know it, you’re having trouble falling asleep at night because the thought of stepping on the scale first thing the next morning has put a pit in your stomach.

And this is where most people wind up throwing in the towel, because it feels like hitting your health goals is hopeless.

So let’s nip this in the bud before we even go there!

It is time to STOP measuring your success by the number on the scale. That number does not define you or your worth.

Instead, I want to invite you to start measuring your success by how you feel — both physically and emotionally.

How you feel in your mind, body, and soul is more important than any number is ever going to be.

So this New Year’s revolution is about so much more than just ditching the scale —

It’s a LOVE REVOLUTION, and it is all about LOVING YOURSELF (and of course, sharing that juicy love with others)!

***I’ve got just the trick to help you ditch the scale with a smile and start feeling the love right away.

I like to call this one the “Blue Crab Trick” and it’s based off something I had my private client try. It was so successful, it’s become one of my favorite tricks to share!

Ditch the scale: hide it in your closet, sell it at your garage sale, or chuck it in the trash.

Choose a picture that brings you joy and reminds you of a happy memory.  For me, it’s my daughter and a constant reminder to be my healthier self as a role-model for her.

Put that picture where your scale used to be.  Better yet, put that picture right on the mirror.  So you start to retrain your brain to look UP at your beautiful face each morning instead of down at the ground.

Now when you look at the place where your scale was and straight in the mirror at yourself, you can smile instead of feeling that sinking feeling.

In my client’s case, she had developed an unhealthy obsession with weighing herself and she was ready to be free of this habit. The picture she chose was from a favorite vacation with her partner and happened to be a photo of a blue crab. Thus, the “Blue Crab Trick” was born!
